So, it will be Man Utd vs Barcelona in the final after Barcelona won Chelsea at SB through the away goal rule. Man Utd on the other hand had won 3-1 at Emirates Stadium to give Arsenal another trohpyless season.

Arsenal did not played well in this game, they started brightly but mistakes by Gibbs and Almunia really destroyed the hope of all Arsenal fans. In my opinion, Arsenal did make some mistakes in their tactic and formation. I would think that putting Diaby on the bench is a wrong choice. Since Arsenal are 1 goal behind, they should put a more attacking formation, Song is a defensive midfielder, he can't really go forward and plays a part in attack, starting Diaby would be a much better choice because his dribbling skills is much better than Song and he can play as a attacking midfield.

Second mistake by Arsenal is that they let Ronaldo too much space. Man Utd most dangerous player would be C.Ronaldo and Arsenal simply just gave too much space and didn't close him down whenever he has the ball.

Third mistake is that I would say such an important match should not let an unexperienced player play, although he had a decent performance at the 1st leg but 2nd leg is much more important, playing Eboue would be a better choice.

The highlight of the game is probably C.Ronaldo 30 yards free-kick goal and Fletcher's red card. As Wenger said in the press conference "The match has ended before it starts"..it's true because Arsenal conceded two goals in just 11 minutes and it two away goal. Man Utd fully deserve a place in the final.

Barcelona booked the final ticket to Roma after a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at SB. Chelsea was unlucky in this match, they had several clear cut penalty calls but none of them has been awarded. After the match, Chelsea's players surrounded the refree and trying to confront. Drogba almost beat the refree and might be punished. Barcelona two full-backs, Abidal and Alves both missed out of the final due to suspension, thats a gd news for Man Utd. Chelsea plays better than Barcelona today, they kept on threatening Victor Valdes and Malouda really performed above expectation, you can't ask for more from him. He was very active on the right hand side and gives Alves many problems, and Alves was suspended coz of marking him. Michael Essien wonderful volley gives Chelsea a 1-0 lead at 9minutes...superb volley I would say, probably goal of the season, better than Ronaldo 40 yards goal.

Chelsea did not had much possession but they did defend well in this match, although Barcelona had lots of possession, Cech really didn't get much threatened. Chelsea on the other hand had fewer chances but all of their chances came close to a goal. Drogba was very threatening, few penalty calls were from him. Iniesta however scored in the 93rd minutes to silence the whole SB. Even at 94th minutes, there was a penalty call after Ballack shot somehow blocked by Eto'o hand in the penalty area but still, it was not a penalty.

So Final would be Man Utd vs Barcelona.. Will Barcelona get their 3rd Champion league trophy or Will Man Utd become the Champion of Europe two times in a row? Bear in mind that no teams had ever becomes the Champion of Europe twice and if Sir Alex Ferguson has done it, he would be the first manager to done so.

John O'Shea score the only goal in the CHampion league semi-final so far to give Man Utd a 1 goal advantage when they travel to Emirates Stadium next week. Arsenal did not perform up to par in today's game. Alunmia probably is the best player in that match with several crucial saves to help Arsenal from conceding more than 1 goal.

Arsenal uses a more defensive formation, Adebayor alone upfront with Walcott, Diaby and Nasri behind him, Fabregas and Song controlling the middle. Arsenal did not have a gd lst leg, they kept on being attack by Man Utd. Even Bendtner and Eduardo brought on later in the second half did not help Arsenal at all. Man Utd did play very gd today, fortunately, Arsenal was lucky enough to concede 1 goal.

Chelsea and Everton will be meeting each other on 30th May to decide who is the FA cup holders.

Everton booked the tickets to final after ex-Man Utd player Howard saves two penalties from berbatov and ferdinand. I heard that Man Utd puts a lot of youngster in this semi-final cup tie and also need to congratz Everton ..

Arsenal on the other hand had lost the chance of getting to FA Cup final after a 2-1 lost. Arsenal did put up a strong line-up..Walcott, Adebayor and Van Persie all in the starting line-up. I feel that Arsenal did not play really well in this game. They didn't pass that fluently n did not have many chances to threaten P.Cech. One of the factors why Arsenal had lost is because their midfield can't match with Chelsea. Chelsea have Lampard, Essien and Ballack controlling the middle and they are all world-class midfielder and if you see Arsenal midfielder, Fabregas, Denlison, Diaby..Arsenal are lost out in terms of whether Experiences or Skills. Fabregas is carefully marked therefore he didn't really that much threat. Adebayor alone had to face two big defenders, Alex and Terry and Adebayor was poor in this match. There is only Walcott and Van Persie threatening the full-backs, esp Walcott whose speed is really threatening Ashely Cole.

Arsenal got the lead through Walcott.. nice cross by gibbs and walcott's shot deflect off Cole and goes into the net. Chelsea on the other hand scores just before the break, Malouda shoot from penalty box scores for Chelsea. This goal could have been prevented if Fabanski can be more alert because this shot has no strength. Fabanski was poor in that match, the 2 goals that Arsenal conceded was mainly his fault. Drogba scores again for Chelsea 6 minutes from stoppage times to give Chelsea a place in the FA Cup final.


Liverpool will be taking on Arsenal on Tue morning, if Arsenal win, they will successfully secured the place for 4th spot IMO. If Liverpool win, they will still had chances of overtaking Man Utd. So important match for both clubs...Arsenal will be in disadvantage because they had gone through a tough battle at weekend while Liverpool have no match at weekend.

It would be another english-dominated in this season Champion leageue, after Chelsea and Barcelona successfully booked a ticket to the semi-final, Arsenal and Man Utd had also done it.

Chelsea had a scare on wed morning as the Liverpool score 2 goals inside the opening 30minutues but Chelsea came back and hang on to a 4-4 draw which eventually sees them vsing Barcelona in the Semi-finals. It would be a great match to watch because both clubs are very attacking minded and it would end up in the high-scoring match.

C.Ronaldo scored a wonderful 40 yards goal to continue searching for their Champion league title, Man Utd needed at least a win and the 6minutes 40 yards goal proved enough. Man Utd will be facing Arsenal in the Semi-finals after Arsenal easily won Villarreal by 3-0, goals from Walcott, Adebayor and Van Persie (Pen) sealed up the semi-finals spot. Another rivaly battle between the english clubs.

It will be an interesting competition between them 4 clubs and these are the top 4 clubs in the world, therefore it wouldn't be suprise if any of the clubs reaching the final...will it be CHelsea and Man Utd competing again like last yr or will it be Barcelona vs Arsenal again ?..looking forward to it.

Yet again, the big 4 won their game as expected. Arsenal had come back from 1 goal down to 4-1 win, goals from walcott, silvestre, Arshavin and Song allow them to secure the 4th spot, Aston Villa on the other hand had earn 1pt after a 3-3 draw with Everton, thats mean Arsenal are now 9pts ahead of Aston Villa. Arsenal midweek had to deal with the Champion League 2nd leg at home with Villarreal, Djourou and Gallas injuries causes Arsenal to had some defensvie problem. Arsenal got a crucial goal last week away thx to Adebayor aerobatic goal. The return of Fabregas and Adebayor are really important to Arsenal and this few recent games show it.

Man Utd got a narrow win against Sunderland at the stadium of light. Macheda again scored for Man Utd, his second goal as many game. Btw, he is just 17 years old and had a bright future ahead of him. With this win, Man Utd get back to the top and 1pt ahead of Liverpool and also with 1 game in hand. Man Utd midweek Champion league will be a tough one because they need to win Porto away in order to process on to the Semi-finals. They let in 2 important away goals at Old Trafford. They also had a FA cup semi-final encounter with Everton on sunday, so a cruical week for Man Utd

Liverpool trashed 4-0 against Blackburn and continue puts pleasure on Man Utd. Liverpool did not had a gd start in the quarter final after losing 3-1 to Chelsea at home. Second league they need to really won Chelsea by at least 3 goals and above.

Chelsea on the other hand won bolton 4-3, they let in goals during the later part of the game coz of their slackness but nevertheless, they still won and still had a glimpse of hope for that BPL title. they had a more relax midweek champion league encounter because they are at home and also had a two goals deficit against Liverpool.

For the relegation battle, Middlesbrough had a chance of getting away from relegation as they won Hull City 3-1. Newcastle draw with Stoke City 1-1 and thats really puts pleasure on Newcastle itself but really their rivals also lost their games as well, Blackburn and Sunderland had both lost and really Newcastle are very fortunate as they still have chance.

Weekend BPL action:

traditional big 4 had won their games as expected which Liverpool and Man Utd must considered themselves to be fortunate because they snatched all 3pts through stoppage time. International break really made clubs that are either fighting for title or relegation to be worry.. most of teams have players injured and can't represent their clubs.

Arsenal had won Man City easily at the Emirates stadium. Adebayor back with 2 goals, fabregas assist. These two players really are important to the club.

Man Utd won it through 17 years old striker Macheda, Man Utd seems to lose on form recently and really Aston Villa deserve at least a pt...tough lock Villa, which this defeat, they are slowly furthering the gap for the 4th spot.

Liverpool sealed all 3pts through a benyaoun's last minutes goal ..didnt watch the match .

International break means a break for me ..hahahz..


Since I am a BPL fans, I will know more about the England squad and really they had totally changed since Capello have take over the managerial position. England trashed Slovakia 4-0 on sat night which I would say would give a morale boost in the upcoming world cup qualifier match against Ukraine. Latest news is that Agbonlahor is being called up to replace the injured Darren Bent. I think England will win this one because of their form right now. Their tactics is right. Selecting those will are currently on -form is better than selecting in terms of popularity. Capello had introduce many new faces in the England squad. Agbonlahor, A.Young, Heskey, etc are all not in the list when McClaren was in charge. I bet England win at least by 2 goal margin.

Gerrard will be the one leading the attack and being the provider. I bet Rooney and Peter Crouch will be starting up front ...Downing on the left and Agbonlahor on the right. Lampard in the center to cover Gerrard.
